Design projects are a compilation of media channels, industries and companies I have had the privilege to design; this is to provide an idea of how versatile my design can be and how important it is to understand the audience and talk their language. It goes from beauty products such as Ru-o-ravaan to healthy products such as Juice Zone and Yo-good to exhibits such as Dinosaurs Unearthed to e-commerce such as Grebcloud and telecom such as Telmex. In addition to video and photography art direction.
Ru-o-ravaan | Brand design
Ru-o-ravaan sells natural, good for you and good for the earth deodorants, perfumes, and candles that work! We are a small Vancouver-based company that started in September 2019.
My design studio was hired, and in my role as a Creative Director, I designed the logo, the icons, the labels, collateral and art directed the product photography. The feathers shape into an R for the name but also symbolizes the flow and simplicity of the natural products.
Yo-good | Brand design & Store design
When delicious meets healthy.
Yo-good a healthy frozen yogurt concept, was in need of a brand image, collateral material, and website as the owner was going to a trade show to promote the franchise.
After brainstorming and compiling a competitor’s analysis, we came up with the name yo-good. The word is a nice combination of the words yogurt and wellness/nutrition “good for you”. The logotype was inspired by the shape of the actually frozen yogurt cone. The red was selected as the most popular flavour was strawberry. The selection of the script typeface was to convey friendliness and openness. The pieces designed included: Name, Logo, Illuminated Signs, Posters, Banners, Trade Show Booth, and Uniforms.
Juice Zone | Brand design & Store design
Juice Zone, a franchise of restaurants with a unique array of healthy and fresh beverages and meals, asked us to re-brand the company image as the current one didn’t communicate their essence. We designed a fresh and modern look by toning down the colours and introducing better-quality photographs. The pieces designed included: Illuminated Signs, Posters, Banners, Trade Show Booth, Collateral, murals, and Uniforms.
Dinosaurs Unearthed | Catalog & Collateral
Dinosaurs Unearthed, a travelling exhibition company, required a new corporate brochure and collateral that showcased their unique brand, improved inventory and recent exhibits as they wanted to expand into the United States.
After a competitive analysis, we recommended that the brand look breathe the Mesozoic Era. To achieve this, we added a rough texture for the backgrounds and coloured them with primary colours to convey ancestry and tradition. We used a bold and grungy typeface for the headers to follow the overall feel and look and a serif typeface for the content for easy reading. The images of the recent exhibits took a central point, and we use illustrations of each of the pieces to outline individual features. The pieces designed included: Collateral, Busines Cards, Catalogue and a website
